Brilliant looking car Thumbs Up you have probably bought the Freelander 3 that Ford Premier Automotive would have built , if they had retained ownership of the LR brand . Much sharper looking and more purposeful than the Discovery Sport .

More likely the Kuga would have been nearer the size segment. Regards

Nor me - but was instantly impressed and yes there is a feel of the FL2 about it - not surprising given Ford's involvement in the past.
It is a big car - I'll try and get a photo of it next to my FL when I do the swapover
Here's a rear view that someone enquired about

You are right, I had not read this before. It seems a pity that it's not to be sold here.

Too close, too similar to the Kuga line up.

It’s a good car with lots of tech. Regards

Well the deed is done - the FL2 is no more Shocked
Now proud owner of a Ford Edge Vignale which will take me some time to learn all the gizmos and features
Here are a couple of pictures of the two vehicles together for size comparison - I was amazed to find that there is not much difference in physical size yet somehow the Ford manages to look and feel much bigger

Although I have joined another forum I will be lurking here and when I have more experience of the Edge will update when I can

I have some accessories and bits and bobs for the FL2 which I will be listing for sale in the near future
Thanks to you all for taking an interest in my search for a worthy replacement for the FL2 - I think I have found one Thumbs Up No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

UPDATE:

Now owned the Edge Vignale for a little while

It has all the toys I would have liked on my FL2 and although it is a bigger car it is easy and comfortable to drive
Economical too - recently did a 200 mile trip and averaged over 40mpg

I think it is a worthy replacement for my FL and would happily recommend the Ford Edge as worth a serious look if you are thinking of changing - pity Ford are no longer supplying RHD models to Europe but there should be plenty of good late model cars available.

Right I think that's it - I'm off now THANKS to all for their help and support over the years
I can be found now on the Ford Owners Forum still as Westville

Not for me as it just looks like anything else out on the road with sleek lines and curves. Each to their own though.
