United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Loire Blue

Slightly off topic but the other day I was with a group discussing the oldest car we had and someone said I wonder who owns the registration A1? Most assumed that it would be on a Rolls Royce or similar and probably owned by the Queen. I did a quick search and it's on a 2007 Mini Cooper S with only about 1500 miles on the clock! Reg is worth a lot more than the car I would guess. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

A1 was originally owned by Lord Brabazon of Tara, where it went after he died I don't know but would assume it's still in the family which would explain why it is on a extremely low mileage Mini my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
2012 HSE SD4 In Orkney Grey now gone, best car ever.

Ford Mondeo Mk3 Estate LX.
A great, reliable car. Cheap to repair and 47 mpg but noisy and no good on ice or mud. What I miss most is the carrying capacity.

I would not like to think how much we all have spent over the years on cars.

The FL2 replaced a Volvo C70 GT T5 convertible. We had it for seventeen years and I miss the awesome acceleration from 240 bhp, but the FL2 is just a lot easier for me to get into and out of. Old age sucks! The FL2 is also probably a better tow car for my car trailer.

I know how you feel missing the acceleration. My FL replaced a Mazda CX-7 which was 260 bop and handled as if it was on rails. It also had the most comfortable drivers seat I’ve ever known.
