Hi There

Hi everyone Rig135 "simon" here.
Just joined the Freel2 forum and would like to say a very big hello to everyone on here.

I am not new to the Forums as i have been a member of the Disco3 for over a year as i currnently have a Disco 3 HSE 08.
Today we have just ordered a New FL2 HSE in Santorini Black for my wife, due to arrive March 11.

Have also had a few factory mods included...
Will post some photos on arrival etc...

Looking forward to reading and getting involved with the forum and hopefully make some new friends..

Hi

just collected FL2 in Biscay blue, almond interior, 59 plate 12K.

I bought from Lancasters in Welwyn Garden City ( 80 miles from home)

They had the right car at the right price and the service etc was first class. Car was imaculate on collection, everything was explained and shown to work.

First experience of a Land Rover and of an ' English' car for more than 17 years, always been BMW/Mercedes.

I am just a little worried about reliability but time will tell, certainly everything I have read gave little cause for concern.

Will be following the forum regularly as I am sure it will be very useful

I just took the plunge and bought FL2, 2.2 TD4 GS. '09' plate 18k from Lancaster Reading.

So far loving it. Hope I can learn lots from this forum and in time, give some back.

Just signed up and would like to say hello to you all.

I came across this excellent site over the weekend, which is good timing as last week I ordered a new FL2, TD4 XS in Ipanema Sand with the following options:

Ebony Napoli Leather
Privacy Glass
Rear Spoiler
Full Size Spare Wheel

The dealer tells me the car will be built on 3rd March and I should have it a week or so later.

Something tells me that the next 8 weeks are going to drag.

Just bought a SD4 FL2 and would like to say hello.
great car but i do have a concern
Does anyone have any complaints about the throttle response....not enough modulation on the pedal....difficult to pull away gently....to much power with very little throttle movement?
Can the accelerator pedal be calibrated to give a more controled power feed in?

I have just joined the forum having placed an order for a SD4XS due in March.looking forward to ownership,I did own a FL1 about 9 years ago and said never again! But really like the look of the FL2 so thought I would give them another chance.looking forward to becoming part of the community here.

Hello from FL2 owner

Picked up 08 GS TD4 FL2 Rimini Red in Dec 10 from Hillendale, Nelson. I did have FL1 when they came out as a company car and have wanted to get another since. This time it's mine Mr. Green

Right car, right price, great service and sales. I had to then go home with it, having not told my hubby I had bought it Whistle .......only took him a week to love it! Phew!

Going in for side steps fitted next week but just nearly fainted when quoted £202 incl VAT for fitting front anf rear mud flaps.......I think I will give them a miss!
