I have had numerous incidents where the battery drained. The auto electricians cannot trace the problem. Initially they claimed it was a tracking device left in the car by the previous owner. However within 2 days of standing the battery drained and the auto electrician had to jump start and retest. The car was then with them for 10 days without success, so continues the cycle: charge - drain within 2 days of not driving -charge

Hi all, just purchased a Freelander 2 HSE. Great car, a couple of niggles I need to sort out though. I think I got a good deal (£2400) for 169k miles, MOT history is relatively clear, no sub frame or suspension issues, biggest issue (that still remains) is the horn not working. Anyway, I'll post about them in specific forums. Nice to meet you all, and join the club! Cheers, John

After being a defender owner for the past 5 years I've decided to sell it to free up some funds to put towards a house deposit. I look forward to using the forum.
