Please do not 'bling' the next design. The Victoria Beckenham publicity may gain new customers but the style implication will loose more loyal and future customers. If customers wish to 'bling' their car let them do it with add on extras. Just please give us good 'honest' design.

A deeper boot not so high off floor. If this means putting spare wheel back on a boot door like freelander 1 then thats fine.

Full size spare as standard.

Rear glass opening, like freelander 1. (really miss that for loading or if have to leave dog in car).

Sat Nav that works.

Seat belt sensor that can be turned off whilst off road and automatically turns off in reverse.

Bottle holders in the doors.

Selected gear displayed on cluster for manual gearbox.(sometimes I end up changing gear just to find out which gear i'm in)

Sort out the gear box ratios, i'm for ever changing up and down gear and why does it request 6th at 50mph!

Multi-use of sat-nav screen (DAB radio, heating etc)
Similar body shape (nothing wrong with the style) Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!

Definatly agree with the looks. Spare wheel on back looks worse, but sometimes, for practicality, boot space is more important.

Seems I want the same as everybody else really, but for what its worth....

Better bluetooth with voice control
Better satnav (Tomtom?)
Lockable glove compartment
Proper hand-level cupholders
Rear window opening
Lower boot lip
Fixed roof rails
Keyless ignition as an option

Please don't change:
overall look
driving experience (command position) and visibility
offroad / snow capability
suspension / ride comfort (I gather from the first post that adjustable dampers are in prospect - ) Brian

Surely you just need to fasten the seat belt before getting in????? so you are effectively sitting against the fastened seat belt.
