Sd4, best I've ever seen is 45 on the screen, driven like Miss Daisy. 42 on a long motorway run would be normal. 33 - 35 is the usual figure. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I never trust the cars computed figures. Mine are individual fills and then combined to give real long term figures. Filling the tank to the brim on modern cars isn’t a good idea. The often have vapour traps that can become saturated. Better to find a pump that works for your car and go back to it regularly. |

We have every petrol receipt for our car with penciled trip meter data, & pencil in the front as they fade.

36mpg fully laden with tailwind……..23.5 mpg with headwind……..very good figures….

Fuel consumption will be less in areas where there is a higher percentage of bio fuel, as it has less calorific value, chose your fuel carefully. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
