Down under the place looks like a garbage tip after Australia Day. Probably mostly done by the people, telling non Australians to get out of the country!

Luckily we have Clean Up Australia Day about a month later & the other half clean the country up after the Bogans! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

It's one of the things that really hacks me off these days. What is it about people who feel entitled to just dump there litter wherever they please. Do they just expect that someone will come and clear it up later or are they happy for it just to stay there
What is the point of travelling to some "beauty spot" and then chucking things out of the car or just leaving behind?? probably make more sense to just travel to the nearest landfill site and park up there. Have a picnic, chuck your litter out of the window and then drive home!!

Just on way home from NT site - pleasant walk around the grounds but still came across the inevitable coffee cup propped up in the branch of a tree, less than 100 yds from the exit. Still I suppose their cups are fully recyclable so in 50 years time it’ll be gone Censored

People have seemed to forget that all during the first lockdown/peak we were told there would be a second peak and another lockdown would be almost inevitable, but hey short memories for the press makes for better headlines today. Regards

The scenes on the news of celebrations outside Nottingham pubs the night before their lockdown typified the problem. Contrast that with the elderly diabetic guy living just outside the city with his wife, terminal cancer patient, who as he put it will be dying at home now, unable to get out her flat in the little time she has left, due to those people

Can't disagree that the Censored deliberately flouting the distancing guidelines are a problem that can only be resolved by shutting the pubs and maybe banning the sale of alcohol ? to stop them holding impromptu parties.

But for me the biggest spreader of Covid is the schools, we were managing OK until they opened the schools. The Kids are relatively safe from the effects, but their parents/grandparents aren't safe from the effects of the virus that they bring home.

So for the sake of those of us who don't qualify for government hand outs, and are in serious jeopardy of losing their house, car, livelyhood - CLOSE THE SCHOOLS NOW. It's taken me decades to get this far and to have it all thrown away for the sake of the kids missing a years education - move the goalposts, extend the school leaving age by a year, by which time we should have a working vaccine. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

Covid-19 is not only a virus, but also ........... an IQ test for the general population !! .... we all have to live with their results.

In Scotland the police have broken up over 3,000 parties ............... but have not managed to breakup the biggest party ....... the SNP !!!

Learn to live as ONE nation.

We have made some blunders down under & some state border issues really could have been managed a lot better.

But I have to agree Covid is for the most an IQ test... with permanent failure! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Our Son is a Doctor and has been during the first peak working in A&E Covid wards, he told us the biggest problem spreading the virus was density of population.......and he said he didn’t mean how close they lived together! Shocked
