I'm a Freelander 1 owner but I've just bought (but haven't picked up yet) a Freelander 2 TD4 HSE in Rimini Red.

2012 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black
Hi folks

I've just taken on a 9 month old SD4 HSE in Santorini Black. I swapped from a Jaguar XJR (and there's a newly restored TR4A in the garage) so it's taking a bit of getting used to but so far so good. The forum has already proven useful pointing me at mudflaps and rubber mats.

I had a Freelander on hire a couple of times over the last few years and they made a good impression. Now if I can just stop SWMBO from shouting "taxi" every time I start it...

I'm Back!!

Hi,

Been away for a while. Used to be on here with an HST i6. I let it go because it was a bit "thirsty", to say the least.

Have just bought a new Freelander 2 Dynamic (with a few extra whistles & bells).

This is a very different motor from my previous car. New dash, controls and interior etc. Can't wait to get it.

About 6 weeks away so I'll be up and posting soon!

Hi, Just had my td4e hse for two and a half weeks traded in an focus st, and no going back!
Im getting the blame for all the snow up here of the father in law, as its not stopped since owning it!
which has worked out perfectly for a good old test!
really impressed especially hdc.
lot of useful info on here.

17,000 is low! You got a good deal by the sound of it. My 2011 HSE has just ticked over 19,000 miles.

Here's my new toy. 2013 TD4 XS manual. Only extras I got were privacy glass and full sized spare. Running it in at present. This is my first Landrover, if all goes well and the MPG is OK I fancy an auto in a couple of years' time.
