I'm now the proud owner of a FL2.

Had a Tiguan for nearly 4 years then got tempted by a Mercedes C class estate. Bit of a mistake as I missed the 4WD on the Tig. Spent a lot of time on this forum lurking and picking up useful tips before deciding to go for the FL2....definitely the right decision this time.

Hi All, just joined the forum today after looking for a while, hoping to get a fl2 black & white edition in the very near future (if I can still get hold of one!) currently own a Mini John Cooper Works, so will be quite a big change.

Hi all, been sitting on the sidelines for a while here and already a member of the Defender2 forum (as I also have a Td5 Defender for my toy ) My FL2 SE is my daily drive and has been now for some while...absolutely love it! Thought I'd join to get the benefits from both sides of my Land Rover fence!

I'm Stef and live in Lier Belgium.
I'm new, but not new to "Freelanders".

I'm driving my third Freelander now...
Never made it to this forum though.
(only Belgian forums)
I owned a FL1 MY2003 first. Really nice car.
I sold my MGF, and moved up a little. (literally, read: driving position )
In november 2008 I bought a black FL2 TD4 HSE MY2009. Sublime car!
It was such a great experience, that when I recently had to change (it was a company car), the choice was easy...
So... since december I feel very lucky to drive my new MY2013.
Same configuration as the previous one, only this time, I chose the SD4 and above that, it is very red!


Did a very small mod already...
(My dealer is probably freaking out )
You see, I'm a fan of CB-radio (some sort of communication device from the eighties ).
And it seemed the rearview-camera interferes with that, so I figuered out the wiring, and now I can temporary switch it off!
The computer says: Camera system fail, but I can live with that...

I have question though, and that's why I finally made it here...

Made my descision & took the plunge. Place my order, decided on XS TD4 Auto. Baltic Blue.
Went for the Panoramic Roof, Privacy Glass, LED Signature, Cold Climate Pack & Armrest Pack.

Am waiting on delivery now, hopefully sometime in March. Getting close now!

I'll take some pix & post them when I get it home!
