Just a quick hello, just joined as I think I would like to get a Freelander 2 to tow my caravan, especially like the 150kg noseweight, I currently have a small (1.2 Tsi DSG) Yeti and I'm finding it a little wanting although has more load space than the FL2.
Enjoying reading the forum and getting your advice on auto vs manual, TD4 vs SD4, 2wd vs 4wd etc.
Must admit the horror stories about Land Rover ownership are the main concern especially after my 5 years of trouble free Skoda experience.

How long did it take from order to delivery? * GONE. GS TD4 Manual MY2013. Orkney Grey with privacy, cold and clearview packs, armrests (a must!) and a spoiler.

About 2 months. Complicated as originally getting a MY12 but then details of MY13 released so decided to get new model. Then had to wait for Landrover to start making new model!

Also because no details of new specs at time of ordering was not sure what had changed on new model. The extras I ordered were electric seats, front park, sunroof and armrest pack. So it was ok in the end but process was not as good as should have been and dealer agreed.

Hello, currently got an MX5, it's great in the summer (not that we've had one since I bought it )
Thinking of changing it, options are Hyundai ix35, Skoda Yeti, Honda CRV, Volvo XC60.
But will probably go for the FL2.

I can't help thinking if I bought one of the others, there would always be that feeling of "I should have bought that"
