Hi all, just found the forum whilst googling a terrain response fault, and thought i'd join and see what's what.

I've had a 2008 Gulf-spec LR2 SE i6 since March and it's a great little car. It's usually used on-road, i'll admit, but that's not saying a lot over here. I have to drive across an open, rocky plot of waste ground to get to the local shop, for instance...

I also use the LR2 in the desert occasionally, and it's yet to get stuck in the dunes - Tyres to 13PSI, Sand mode on, gears to manual and it's off to play with the Land Cruisers! 3-up with a boot load of kit too.

Just need to work out where all the rattles, creaks and buzzes are coming from in the interior now. And re-attach that trim that covers the third brake light that fell off yesterday.

I'm yet to work out what part of the Gulf a Gulf-spec LR2 will need to use the Snow setting on the TR but hey, what with Climate Change you never know...

Thanks for the welcome, I know I swore I would never have another black car again after my first one back in 1983. But so far I have washed it every weekend & it still looks great.

BTW The salesman told me that the only colour they cannot shift in used Land Rovers is.....................Rimini Red

Until it died on the outside lane of the M1 on Sunday.
I am trying to get to the bottom of it now.

I have a MK1 - MX5
and a Isuzu Trooper (sorry)
And a sodding Horse Lorry !!
