First job is to sort out the dreaded rear diff/bearing noise on one of them... Rolling Eyes

Check the tyres (partly worn) aren’t causing the noise first, a lot of people find they are.

The tyres might look fine.
Try swapping front to back and see if it sounds any different.

The noise seems to go when cornering and louder under load
so thinking might be wheel bearings which also seem a common
weakness?

Hi. After living in the Middle East for many years and doing two test drives on what they called the LR2 but not actually buying one, I finally bought a 2007 i6 in June this year here in the UK. I absolutely love it. It is the first time I have not minded driving a car as I am a bit of a motorbike person at heart. Just did a really quick trip from near London Heathrow to Ambleside in the Lake District. Then via Ullswater up to Aberdeen, Aberdeen to Edinburgh and then Edinburgh back down to home. Absolutely lovely drive. Car was flawless.
I will be looking to fit an Xtrons or similar and would like to thank you and all the contributors for all the great information on this site.
