I think that the joke is very funny, not true but very funny.

Our Freelanders very rarely failed to get us home - 4 times in over 400,000 miles and with two "failure to proceed" she gave fair warning.
The Disco Sports have always got us home, grumpily maybe, but my definition of reliable for any vehicle is will she get you there and back.

So give me a Land Rover ventilator if need one, OK most of the add-ons will either fail to work, or do something completely random, but the will do what it needs to do even with bits hanging off.

A recently wed bride was visiting her mother who tactfully asked if everything was alright in the bedroom department.

A penguin is out for a drive when he notices a soft brake pedal. He slows down and at the next town stops in at the local garage and explains to the mechanic. Mechanic says 'just let me finish this job and then I'll take a look, come back in an hour' 

The penguin heads off looking to kill time. There's not much to do so he goes and gets an ice cream. Since penguins just have them silly stubby wings he made a bit of a mess of eating it and got it all round his mouth and chin. Any way after an hour he heads back to the garage and the mechanic pokes his head out from under a bonnet and says 'looks like you blew a seal' 'no' said the penguin it's just ice cream' MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.
