Press the handle in and then turn,the lock is crap best not use it in cases it fails in locked position

As I’ve posted before, plumbers mate on the gasket, does the trick. People don’t seem too take any notice, just keep asking the same old questions over and over again.

Is it easy to do if car is on lift, just had genuine hose assembly fitted by my local garage, and pretty sure they didn’t remove half the car .

New seal and an application of plumbers mate (Boss White) no more leaks.
Make sure to clean old seal off properly.

Correct, force the flap gently so you can get something in to push the button down and then your in . Plenty of GT85 in the plunger button hole and it should be back to operating mode
