Hot rear brakes problems. I'd be first checking that the Hand brake shoe Expander pivots are not seized, they can be frred off if there not too far gone.
 No Ignition lights . None starter.

Check all intercooler pipes and intercooler for splits or leaks.
The short pipe splits at the rear, both short and long pipe cost £30.00 from E-bay.
Long pipe very tight to replace Shocked

I found the the engine was doing it in any gear from around 1,800 to 2,200 revs, But would drive through it.

Found both pipes on E-bay £29.90 , Plenty out there, as below should help ? Came in two days.

I can fully understand where your coming from, hence why I haven't done much to it over the last couple of years.
but sooner or latter I may have to change the pads & discs ...
