Robin, Harvey, Northscot17 and a few other intrepid Freelander owners not frightened to take theirs offroad and into the mucky stuff. Welcome to you all.

liked your gallery with the LR2 info and thought I'd register. We have a Jet Black 2001 TD4 over here in Switzerland. Just clocked up 120,000km and we are itching to replace it with either the LR2 or a Cayenne V6.

I wish it was that easy. I'm firmly under the Cayenne 'hypnotic spell' currently - got it bad as I've been holding off for the past couple of years Need to feed the LR2 curiosity asap or it could be too late - help! Life savings are burning a hole in the pocket. Test drove the Cayenne V6 two weeks ago, only dislike was the plasticy bits of interior. Unbelievable but true, our insurance quote for a new Cayenne V6 reduces slightly compared to our current almost five year old TD4!! Where are you in Shropshire Simon? Wife and I lived and grew up in Telford..
