Replaced battery, bought it locally with a 3 years warranty.

Whilst taking the old battery out, I noticed some battery acid on the bottom of the tray. Suspecting that the old battery had boiled over.

Check the charging voltage at 2000rpm it may be higher than at idle ,if the regulator is not functioning correctly.

There should be a breather pipe attached to the front of the battery that would direct any overflow to the ground. |
