Well I went in late last week to buy a white diesel SE and came home with a black petrol SE... I got a price that was just way too good to refuse, and I do think they look great in black, main thing is the missus is happy!

I still can't get over how nice these things are to drive, so incredibly comfortable... but all you Freelander 2 owners already know this Wink

Congratulations Red Baron, sure you will enjoy it very much. Just wondering are you going to get that after market GPS unit fitted to the centre dash space?

Cheers

Yeah the difference is some colours, Trim is now either ebony or almond. The wood trims have changed, also the metal one, is meant to look better, So i have been told. So i optioned the silver trim instead of the wood.

The look is pretty much the same i beleive but i have yet to find good interior pictures.

The sales people in Ossie Park, WA can't tell me exactly the changes, but i beleive theres interior lighting for map reading?! Rolling Eyes I'm so excited LOL

But what a joke that sat nav or blue tooth is not standard... So Censored off... and no chance i was paying $8000 for the technology pack!

Looks like i need a after market one.

Yeah, I find it is ridiculous to charge $8000 + stamp duty for sat nav & bluetooth. I am totally happy with the car but not impressed by the decision of LandRover Australia to make sat & bluetooth in a package and only available to HSE buyers.

I was considering replacing the audio unit with a double din unit with sat nav + bluetooth but didn't go ahead because I found out that all systems are integrated together and very difficult to make it work with the rest of the car such as the beeping of the reverse sensor and the control on the steering wheel.

So really looking forward to seeing someone can find a sat nav + bluetooth unit that work and fit into that dash space.
