Accom - Hotel or B&B or Chalet or if I was really pushed, residential type car....n no i can't bring myself to say it.
Ankle biters - 9,6,1, but don't have to take them, can always drop them off at Barnardos, permanently!

Yes, he has quite a nice pad. He has his own web site and the food looks good. His internet ain't working right tonight, so he told me to tell you everyones invited to stay and free grub and drink for the whole weekend!

There we go start off at forum Members Eskdales camping site (possible photo opportunity somewhere nearby)

drive over passes in morning, possible somesort of lake cruise, for the ladies and kids, Early afternoon and then Rowys for Sunday lunch (on a Saturday Laughing )

is there still the submarine at the bottom side of Windermere near the aquarium? Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I have spoken to Eskdale and he'll look into some routes, but feel we need to be met up and ready to go for 9:30am and we need to limit numbers as as it stands 20 cars is quite a convoy on narrow lanes Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I hesitate to make a suggestion (as certain members seem to increasingly report that my posts take the p155, are demeaning, rude and offensive) however I've never been known to shy from adversity so here's a suggestion:

Why not split the convoy up and send one group in a clockwise direction and the other anticlockwise retaining thereby the total number of participants, and, you can still have common start, intermediate and finish locations.

It works here in the mountains where similar logistical challenges are present.
