Hitherto my annual FiT payments have exceeded my annual electricity bill (as you might expect of course given that I also get to use as much of the solar generation as possible for free) and with solar hot water in summer the annual gas bill is also reduced but I have never quantified that benefit.

January 1st to June 30th FiT payments are just shy of £400 with the best quarter yet to come Thumbs Up

Those are over priced garbage.
I bought one second hand for £10 a couple of years ago to teach my youngest to ride a full sized bike.
I've since bought her a proper bike (aSpecialized) and took the LR badged piece of rubbish to the local charity shop.
I ride a Cube, which is a million light years more advanced than the LR badged garbage. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold.

Perhaps something like this 2024 Kia EV9 might do the trick for people, like me, who don't want to loose the upright boxy shape.

Just watched Johnny Smith's review of the new MG4, which although just a normal hatchback, actually looks pretty good, and the price is good too.
