With around a third of the items on the BBC's "live" coverage page on the Internet being nothing but a link to Twitter are they not already just "another one of them"? Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

I rarely watch the BBC news anymore, it should really be renamed The One Show 24, that's about its level. You already know what they are going to serve up, a moan fest about the government not getting things exactly right, the opposition opinion on how the government is handling things, oh shock, the government are in chaos. Clarification on the waters they have been muddying by deliberately mis-understanding things. Switch to celebrities to find out how they are managing, milk for inspiring messages. Switch to member of the public \ family to find out what they are doing, spend most of the time interviewing a 5 year old child, milk for inspiring messages.

I watched a bit a couple of weeks back where there was someone showing you how to wash your hands, then they showed a 'reward clip' for watching, which was of some puppies playing. Sheesh.
Hung like Einstein, smart as a horse.

After a holiday on the Ruby Princess? Shocked

11 dead, 600 sick & 2700 let off the ship without medical checks & waved through customs without passport checks because border personal didn't want to catch anything. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Keir Starmer voted in and has already set up a 'Coronavirus Council' to fight the way the Tories are handling the crisis. For once you'd just like to think all parties could get round the table with a view to resolving the problem. Clearly wishful thinking

There were also large crowds at a Brisbane fresh food market, which left Queensland Premier fuming.

Daily Mail is not a credible source of factual news in the UK.

I was watching Sky News when 'news broke' about Boris. Turned over to BBC 24, nothing, waited, nothing. Then a whole two minutes past and BBC 24 "Latest News, we have just heard Boris is to attend hospital"
Late ........ est news ......... did they hear it on Sky News ..... like I did ???
And then it was not made 'official' until Laura K sent the 'anchor man' a text. "it has been confirmed ....."
Rolling with laughter

Cruise Liner Industry

All those cruise ships will be repainted and renamed by their corporates over the next 12 months.

And those market pictures include kids. The mentality of those parents is shocking.

I post these comments only because I have to be solid as a rock and reliable as the dawn rises for my other half who is at the Covid-19 coal face every day, out at 05:15 each morning and back earliest at 21:25hrs seeing her patients die in dreadful circumstances, and then, having to fill in the associated admin. Yesterday Sunday she had a day off - er not really - spent in the study filling out all those clinical forms as she didn’t have time to do so at her hospital in Zurich. As she is so exhausted every day if she catches the virus she’ll be struggling to fight it, just like many of her colleagues at the moment.

We do social isolating on a different level in our house. K goes through her detox in the downstairs bathroom exclusively for her own use. All her clothes are washed separately at 60°C. It kills her clothes but may just kill the virus. Then the washing machine gets detoxed before either mine or daughters clothes venture in it. We eat at a distance to each other and K gets dedicated cutlery and crockery. The dishwasher gets a 70°C blast. We each rest in defined individual chairs, we sleep in different bedrooms and naturally bedclothes are washed separately. Etc etc. Nothings normal now. The virus lives on and on; on your clothes and soft furnishings, and particularly on hard surfaces except copper. For how long is still the subject of research. So yes, only K enters her FL2 until this is over. After that it will probably get a very very deep clean.

And law enforcement and the judiciary should fine every single person for none compliance re social distancing. Starting with that jerk the ex Labour leader Corbyn who walked over to his neighbour to offer him something to bang on the other night in celebration of the NHS. K saw that on the TV news here and was outraged - he’d better hope he never gets ill here and is hospitalized in her high dependency unit.

Stay safe all.
