On the watch forums he is a bit marmite. The Watchfinder channel is quite good. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Which just goes to show what the margin and intrinsic value on and in “ Luxury” watches is . I think the only models in normal retail that you can not get a discount on currently are Rolex stainless sports watches ( which are never see in The window as they are always on back order ) and Daytona’s . As you say don’t pay full whack , and don’t think of it as an investment , it just a thing to be bought and enjoyed . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

2016 Subaru Outback SE 2.0 diesel SE Premium Lineartronic Sold 2024 after 8 years and 80k miles . Best Car I ever owned !

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Santorini Black

My folks both have Patek Philippe or whatever they are. About £30k a piece. They agree they are pure indulgence but view them as things that will be passed down through generations. Sadly I don't see them ever being worn though once passed on as who would wear that much money on their wrist....

Give me a nice Omega and I'd be happy. As it is I use a £7.99 digital watch. It's seconds counter works wonders for taking pulses at work 😂 Learned to drive in 2011.
Bought a Micra - great little car
"Upgraded" to Kia Sportage - hated it
Proper upgrade to FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k
Reconditioned diff at 70k ish
Sold at 84k and now on a DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental

I always had my Casio G-Shock when I went on duty during my time as a Special Constable. Rolling around on the floor wrestling local Censored required a tough watch. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

You don’t know how true that can be at times. They have been known to be worse than blokes. Reminiscent of the Gremlins movie Laughing LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
