Which just goes to show what the margin and intrinsic value on and in “ Luxury” watches is . I think the only models in normal retail that you can not get a discount on currently are Rolex stainless sports watches ( which are never see in The window as they are always on back order ) and Daytona’s . My folks both have Patek Philippe or whatever they are. About £30k a piece. They agree they are pure indulgence but view them as things that will be passed down through generations. Sadly I don't see them ever being worn though once passed on as who would wear that much money on their wrist....
