Things you didn`t know your FL2 could do!

Following on from an earlier topic which was hijacked into "things you didn`t know about your FL2", I`ve just found another.
After parking up in a local park yesterday, I drove off very gently (plenty of people and dogs about) without touching the throttle. The road sloped gently downhill so went up through the gears, still without touching the throttle. After 1/2 mile of so took a corner and gently accelerated and, as soon as I pressed the pedal, the doors locked!!!. This normally happens as soon as you move - 2 or 3 mph, but the software obviously is programmed to prove that someone is actually driving the car, i.e.pressing a pedal, before locking the doors.
The only purpose I can think of for this function would be that you can escape out of a runaway car!?! Or am I missing something obvious? Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly!

Interesting! I will try that tomorrow. I had assumed that they were time based like the seat belt chimes. I suppose I was the only one who did not realise the boot board was designed to turn over so as not to muck up the carpet when carrying a load of mucky stuff. still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit

With the key in the holder and start button pressed (no clutch) so the dash lights up.

You insert the seatbelt something like 10 times in a minute, took me a couple of times to get the required result. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I don't know if this is in the manual cause I can't be bothered checking but...
Did you know when the "low washer fluid" warning comes on the headlight sprays stop working.

Thank you and goodnight

Yup I know that, when the washer reservoir reaches a certain point they stop working to maintain the screen washers function till you can top up

The headlamp washer will only spray every 10 times, or a certain amount of time has passed since you last sprayer them too  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Yep I know that too. Don't like it though, I know it's not but it feels kinda random. I prefer the "hold for n seconds and the headlight washers will start" method.

Do a constant 74mph on cruise control at a 36.7mpg, then 13 miles of A/B/C grade roads without mpg changing. Return journey just the same. Has Emilys fuel consumption reading stuck or am I in for this type of mpg forever now she's done 8000 miles.
p.s. She got her feet very dirty at end of C grade road still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit

Some more;
1) Engine will not stop on the button if you are doing over X mph.
2) If your readout of miles available on the fuel in your tank gets to "0", the cruise control disengages and the engine goes into a sort of "Limp to a Garage" low power mode! Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly!
