which is admirable risk assessment - but not much help when the camshaft fails!

You may have already covered this but your secondary earth strap should run from battery to gearbox casing or starter attachment stud, not to bodywork (where the OEM strap connects)
 SD4 DPF oil.

see my post of 17/11/15 on this thread, you need to have access to the start/reset switch as Tom-Tom battery will go flat after a week or so with no use
