You need to run an air path calibration, or the ECM doesn't know the parameters of the new parts fitted.

Yes.
A stretch bolt has a thinner section in the middle, which is the stretchy part.

That's the UV load sensor, which increases AC output, depending on how much UV makes it into the cabin. All cars with computer controlled climate have them. Wink

The Freelander 2 is always higher on the rear compared to the front. I've seen them sit level, but that's a sign the rear springs have lost rate.
