3hours to strip out to get access.

If you think it's the Bluetooth module, this is not part of the head unit in the dash. As with most things on these vehicles, modules can be located anywhere.

Does this mean the car recognises when bonnet is open through bonnet catch switch, and turns wipers off?

Simon, don't think mine was quite same as this, but I woul leave 7-8, 14-15, 16-17 connected if this puts xtrons audio out onto aux in of car unit.Try it and see.
