I wouldn't put any weight directly on the roof. There is only one very modestly size stiffening section. The roof itself is very thin, & gives just leaning on it waxing the roof etc.

I don't drive around corners fast. Even on dirt roads!

Heavy braking on straight roads has been necessary enough times over the decades.

I think you have problems with wheel alignment & or linkage for the uneven wear.
