Since they change spacing can't you Velcro on individual figures annually as required! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Use sticky pads to temporarily put a regular number plate on top of your regular number plate? Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Registration plates have altered character spacing to help buyers spell words they want to spell with their personalised plate. As you can expect, this is illegal, and can land you with an on the spot fine of £100, which could rise to £1,000, as well as a failed MOT and your number plates being seized. |

With ANPR cameras everywhere, surely even if you change plates for MOT it will be only a matter of time before a bored traffic cop stops you and fines you. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

I think there are far better ways to personalise your car than to have fancy number plates that not only may be illegal but don't really spell out what the owner would like them to say.

I used to get excited about "personal" plates, but that was many years ago when I had money. I even remember people looking for "DPM" plates (diplomatic) in the 70's as you didn't get parking tickets!

Bobupndown : I don’t like the mis-spaced number plates that can’t be read easily……lots of people get away with it……..& thé DVLA have made a fortune out of the sales….only for the government to waste the money………..I have 2 ‘proper’ Cherished Numbers…..from cars registered in the 1950’s…..bought in ‘70’s….

As I was pulling out of a carpark today, I spotted a Dark Blue RRS SV pulling in with this numberplate.
