Great thank you. I don’t have a workshop manual as have only owned for 2 weeks! May have to invest in one 😊

Update - one more problem sorted one to go!

Replaced the rear jet nozzle so that is sorted. Picture shows why the old one was shooting in odd directions!

I then went to remove the wheel arch access panel to check/switch the washer outlets as the switch functions are still reversed and have bumped into an issue with the 2 bolts. They are just spinning in place πŸ™„ Removed the screws from the front bottom edge ok but just cannot get the bolts to come out. Any tips? I am hesitant to tug too hard on them in case I break something that then prevents me from replacing the panel!

All sorted!

Panic over, I managed to get the panel off and have switched the motor outlets and now all working as expected!

As a member of the female species and very non-mechanically minded I am feeling rather chuffed with myself πŸ˜‚

Thank you so much for all the help πŸ‘πŸ»

I think I'm getting hit by the same issue right now. Replaced the wiper stalk once with some second hand one, it worked for a month or so, and stopped working again Sad

I saw that in facelift models they "fixed" this issue and changed the way stalk works - now pulling it sprays the front windshield (like in every normal car...).
The question is - can I fit the facelift Evoque-like stalk to the pre-facelift model?

The answer is - you can't. They may look similar, but actually they are physically different. Well spent 10$ for salvaged Evoque stalk Surprised
