@jules, I tried it yesterday but forgot to post up the results. Sadly, for me and my LR2 model, this did not work. Bummer!!! Big Cry Whistle

jules, I tested my obdlink setup this morning & it appears to work correctly. After a couple of short drives (7km each way) the ATF was reading 65 °C & the coolant temp was 80 °C.

@Badger It would be really helpful if could you post some screenshots of you PID for ATF temp. Each of PIDs take up several pages on my phone requiring scrolling to see all of it. Jules

Different code for later model/SD4?

There's a plugin for the Torque app... scans the car for PIDS. Not played with it, but might be able to find missing ones?

I bought OBD bluetooth interface. Can you recommend a good android software (preferably free) to test information from engine? Any other experience besides Torque pro? My car is FL2 2008 td4 auto. THX

Thanks. Yes that may be the problem - there is a more Evoque stuff in the later FL2.

Do you have a link for the plugin ? I'll search for it too. Jules

Try a different ECU and PID to see if it works and it's not anything else you're missing.
For example engine ECU, D903 - Engine speed.

Settings > Plugins > Installed Plugins > Get more plugins > TorqueScan

Install and it'll appear on your Torque main menu start page. Worth a try!

I have that plugin installed and it makes no diff for getting trans temp to work for my model & year class; maybe I need to setup a different vehicle profile. Good luck @jules, looks like peeps with your model and year class have gotten this to work successfully. Maybe I should hard wire in a gauge as I did on my previous vehicle as I like a permanent display of the trans temp.
