At least it is giving me a warning to make sure it goes back to rest, rather than leaving it to overheat. 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

Hi there. I have a similar problem - did you ever track down the cause? Only evident now in the cold mornings..... Ian. 2013 LR2 SD4 XS 1982 Moto Guzzi V50 1952 Norton ES2

On my previous MY10 XS the rear screen heater always caused radio interference - it was one or the other, a perfect de-mist and no radio or radio and no de-mist. Happily, the heated mirrors did the job so the rear screen heater was rarely used.

I've noticed that the lowest filament seems to be discoloured which may be causing a high resistance. Possibly repair paint may fix it. Ian. 2013 LR2 SD4 XS 1982 Moto Guzzi V50 1952 Norton ES2
