When it comes to declaring factory/dealer fitted extras, how would you know on a used car? I bought mine second hand. It has a towbar which I don't use but which I have declared. I have no idea whether there are any other extras fitted. Nor would anyone else buying second hand unless they seriously need to get out more... |

Self supporting, and we should make hastened repairs to 'Hadrians Wall' to repel the 'savages' and protect our women. |

hinchy churchill wanted 1200 for renewal this year 51yrs of age no convictions,no accidents last 20 yrs when i phoned up to ask them to explane why my insurance had doubled i was told that i was on all the max discounts avalable so l.v quoted me 599.00all in, in the lro mag last month there was an artical that churchill insurance will no insure defenders with side facing seats in the rear i wonder if churchill may be getting to the point where they dont want to insure any landrovers and are using higher ins premiums to do this |

No you will need to pay extra for "Europe" cover whenever you come to England. And of course buying an English car will mean exporting to Scotland, reregistering etc. You may have to take a leaf from the Irish and resort to importing dodgy Defenders with recent paint jobs and no documents ![]() |

Just renewed mine with Esure £426. LV wanted £400 but that was without disclosing any upgrades, so wasn't competitive to go any further with that one. More Than sent an invitation to join them with a big heading saying that they are the most competative on the market and 80% of More Than customers pay £180, where they get that from I haven't a clue as thy quoted £680 |
