They will probably change the LR badging to Range Rover and charge us another several thousand pounds on top!

Speced up a Fl2 XS with a few bits and bobs and also a basic Evoque with a few bits and bobs and found the FL2 was about a grand dearer.

I would say Landrover have bocome too greedy on the sucess of the Evoque. Even on the 2013 model of the Dynamic I have it had as standard a lip spoiler on the top of the standard spoiler, now they want £155 for it as an option =  (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

they will be charging us for glove box lids next (hark ye old days of my first Ford Fiesta - a glovebox lid was an optional extra!)

its a disgrace that they are charging for the spoiler, the spare wheels too  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

The way I see it the 13MY would give me a slightly modernised centre part of the dash, an electric parking brake (which was okay on my auto D3 but useless on my manual D3) and front/rear light changes.

To get the same spec as my 12MY XS (white with leather, arm rests, 18 alloys and spare, tailgate spoiler, privacy and design pack) using the build configure which shows the 13MY as having standard the leather and design pack then and adding the missing bits which are standard on 12MY (front park distance control, cold climate) it quotes £31650 which is £2500 cheaper than the RRP of just over £34k of my 12MY.

Am I missing something? I bet I wouldn’t get the discount that saw me get my XS for £28k. Would I pay £3.5 more to get a 13MY. No
