2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Santorini Black
My FL2 MPG results.....

At Xmas 2010 bought myself a 2nd hand FL2 2009 GS TD4-e

Though I'd post my TANK (not a single journey. Rather average for whole tank) MPG results....

Range 21 mls
Trip 617.1 mls
Average MPG 44.4

Pretty pleased about that. Smile

Are you sure you bought a Freelander 2 and not a Prius?????? I'm still lucky to hit mid thirties with mine. Censored thing.

England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Indus Silver

I had a trip to yorkshire last week, 7 days floating about, obviously going to whitby for fish and chips! Anyway, did about 800 miles and averaged 37.6mpg.
I have a 2007 XS Manual, just passed its 2nd MOT without a hitch, and I still enjoy every moment that I drive her.

mine is about similar normally, but this winter the defrosting/ticking over has had a big impact on my average mpg/miles per tank, but things will soon return to normal when the better weather comes.

not complaining, very happy with it..............

I just filled mine up again and worked out that I got 37.6mpg after motorway runs to York and Cheshire plus general running about town. The average mpg readout in the car also said 38mpg, so it seems pretty accurate. Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!

17.2mpg, but then I was doing between 80-90mph in a 30 zone with the Filth with their blues and twos on behind me, so I had to slap it down a cog and hoof it, there was no way I was going to dispose of the Ganga out the window otherwise. I then took to the fields, what a God send the TC is, the Filth almost immediately got stuck. Anyway, I think that knocked my mpg down a bit. I've got another drop off next week, so I'll reset the trip and fingers crossed the Filth dont get wind of me, that might give me a better mpg!

For the life of me I don't understand how everyone is getting such good mileage? My last fill up (and about my average for the last 2000 miles) I averaged 17.6mpg (US)/21.1(UK). MY10 HSE Sport Limited Edition petrol automatic. Does everyone within the Motherland drive diesel?

I drive like a complete putz. I'm the slowest off the line, and frequently kick it into neutral when I see a light changing to red in the distance. Tire pressure is checked monthly, and more frequently when there are significant ambient temperature changes.

I'm hoping that my mileage will improve when/if it warms up around here. Big Cry
