Is that the CUPAR stealers? Been there, had work done a few times, quite a nice dealership apart from the excessive prices. I presume if you put your wad down, you forfit any negotiation or deviation from list price? Don't mind chucking 1k at a dealer for deposit, but do mind loosing the inability to buy cheap. |

Won't it be one of those transferable deposits, where if you change your mind it can go towards any other car? Phil |

Yes its the cupar dealer, deposit can be refunded or used against another car. Have an excellent relationship with my dealer. They think it should be on sale late feb early march 2011 or a very very slim chance dec 2010. |

Got a newsletter through from our local dealer just this morning with all the finance deals on all the cars etc but in the blurb about the LRX it's saying in one sentence that it's an ''additional Range Rover derivative'' but in another it's saying it's going to be the ''smallest, lightest and most efficient vehicle the company has ever produced''....so am I right in assuming that means it's going to smaller than the FL2 |

wheel base will be the same as fl2, but lrx will have shorter front and rear overhangs. |

Not bad for a deposit, if it turns out there is a waiting list. I think they might be struggling for customers at 30k. I like the car, but it's small. I'd rather spend the extra and get a D4 in honesty and that come from someone who likes places to put iPhones and coloured lights and coupes. |

If the car turns out to be too expansive, i will stick with another fl2. I've owned a d3 but spend most of the time in the car myself, so want somthing smaller and more economical. |

It is going to be a big seller and I'm sure demand will outstrip supply initially, but are there any other advantages to paying a deposit now other than being at the front of the queue? I've heard of people in the past being able to sell a deposit on at a profit but that's usually on limited/prestige cars. Could that happen with the RR Compact I wonder? |
