United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Bali Blue

My FL2 is up for change Apr 2011 so if I stick to the brand would be looking to swop for a LRX or a facelift FL2 (anyone got a firm date when that comes out???). Only concern I have over the LRX is its practicality, a colleague has a BMW X6 and it is awful, looks like a dog turd on wheels, small boot, room in the back for two 3 foot adults with no heads, useless in snow and ridiculously priced for what you get, personally I would have saved a few quid and gone for the X5. Im just wondering if the LRX / Facelft FL2 is going to suffer the same fate?

Maybe.

There has been plenty of posts speculating on the facelift for the FL2 and the LRX. Don't know if I can add much else other than a facelift will happen as day follows night, it's just when, probably when I just purchased a new old one.

LRX will have the same runnig gear as fl2 and terrain response, BMW X1 X3 X5 X6 are all pathetic off road. Don't think LRX will suffer as bad as them, should have resonable off road ability on grass fields, muddy tracks and snow. Thumbs Up

It looks really nice, may I ask which dealer let you do this?

Not knocking it, but don't think it's in the same class as some that have been like that in the past.

New lrx info.

On sale march 2011. Bit wider and longer than fl2. Look bigger with larger bumpers and 20" rims. Base lrx 32k. Hybrid in 2012. Launch with petrol, diesel and a 5dr and 3dr. Things change but keep you updated. Pre production starts next month. Live your life be free-lander

Sods Law - Probably just after I've purchased a new old style one.

I think from whats said, it could be a years time, but I stand to be corrected.
