Bluetooth installation

Hello, i want to install to my freelander 2 bluetooth. I want to do this with the original parts but i wan to do it by myshelf, without the help from anyone dealer. Do you know if the microphone is preinstalled in the car? The car doesnt have bluetooth module. I saw the location that land rover put it. But for the microphone i cant understand if is there. Also the car doesent have phone sweetces on the steer. Sorry but i dont speak very good english. If someone doesnt understand something, pleas ask me to give more informations.

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Loire Blue

The key here lies in current audio fitted. If your cd slot is above audio display then it is possible using existing loom. However if your cd slot is below audio display then you have Lo- line system and I would expect that the MOST bus wiring is not present and so making this job a huge task. 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

Your link is to google search page so not clear what audio you have. What is the year and model of your FL2? 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

Australia 2008 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Sumatra Black

Looks like the mid/high line system with the CD slot above the display.

If you want to go OEM it won't be cheap. I am doing this myself and I managed to pick up an original install kit at a discounted price 2nd hand.

I will take photo's of all the pieces and detail any specific wiring if it's not in the existing wiring diagrams, and make a copy of the installation instructions, so anyone else down the track can hopefully get the required wiring from wrecked cars, or maybe even from a Jag XF (speculating there, but I think so)

Just waiting on the kit to arrive in the post and then i'll get started.

Will be updating the other thread here ==>> http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic23386.html 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers
