Retrace?

Good morning from the south of France.(nor lost in France! Very Happy ) Bloody boiling here at the moment. Thumbs Up How does
the retrace work on the satnav? I have RTFB, but no mention of it. Do you (a) put a destination in
and press retrace, then does it bring you back from where you are going? Or (b) do you put a destination in and
enter retrace when you want to come back? OR..............is there another action? Whistle 2013 Dynamic Santorini black

I was in southern France a few years ago for a month & had a row of 43° C days plus a lot more days in the high thirties. I said I will not complain about Sydney temperatures again!

Did reach 46° C a few years ago in the shade by the water in Sydney. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

does it not just put dots on the map so you know where you've been ? ?

I've not used it on the newer car but retrace is basically dots on screen so you can follow the breadcrumbs back out if your off-road Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

trace route is enabled - I think from reading other threads (http://www.freel2.com/forum/post53498.html) page 34 & page 47 may help. there should be an option to disable it
If my FL2 was not in the garage, I would go check for you.

not true, if you are well off the beaten track, especially in the dark. then the tracert dots are pretty much the only way to find your way back to your point of entry, or any landmarks you spotted enroute - unless you are 100% familiar with the lay of the land. even then people get lost.

find yourself a few hundred acres of grass/woodland, and spend 4 hours driving around hunting/surveying at night...........
