Pox upon the electronic doodahs

Sorry the hear your electronics have succumbed to the same pox that affected mine - see this thread:-

http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic11513.html

An independent will do the ABS modulator job for you for less than a Grand - the main dealer will want to charge you well over a hundred just to tell you that it is broken!
Poor quality component sadly and the replacement cost is outrageous.

Robin

It may just be a wheel sensor so don't go overboard just yet. Glad it will be fairly painless with it under gaurantee Thumbs Up

the cars back Thumbs Up

looking at the in car camera it was plugged in to get fault code then on to the battery charger (battery has always been fine) and finely fitted a new rear ABS sensor,

hopefully this one lasts longer than 8 months 1995 P38 now dead

England

Christmas greetings
I have just taken my FL2 in to Barretts Canterbury for ATF oil dripping of the torque convertor [ they changed it six months, three thousand miles ago ] and they can't find the reason for it. When I ask them what they expect me to do now, they said bring it back in three months, and they gave me a tin of sweets. Is this a cunning plan from Landrover Customer Service to sweeten us up [ please for give the pun ] or are they turning the Kent's most unreliable dealership into a confectioner?
