lake argyle – 39 viewsthe main wall of the largest body of fresh water in Australia . several years ago the east kimberly had heavy widespread monsoonal rain and most of it fell in the lake argyle catchment causing the water level to rise 11 meters above the spillway with 1 million litres of water per second flowing over for seversl weeks .
