lake argyle – 39 viewsthe main wall of the largest body of fresh water in Australia . several years ago the east kimberly had heavy widespread monsoonal rain and most of it fell in the lake argyle catchment causing the water level to rise 11 meters above the spillway with 1 million litres of water per second flowing over for seversl weeks .

a worse day – 45 viewsthis was on the 23 of dec late in the afternoon and we were flying out the next morning for a 2 week christmas break . the nearest excuvator was 100 ks away and had to be floated in to dig him out,yes we got him out and all flew home the next morning
