I think I have an explanation for my win, its all down to my engineering background where I worked out in my head the trajectory, angle of elevation, velocity and sheer luck. Surprised I honestly have no idea how I did so well.
What a day, thoroughly enjoyed myself what with meeting you guys and my thanks to Toeknee for organising it. Bow down
As for the scones that I have read about ever since joining this forum, I'd like to say they were worth waiting for and to add thanks to CG for for allowing me the non Lidl one and please thank Mrs CG for baking them. Very Happy
Mrs Toeknee deserves my thanks also for the best Banana and 'T' bread cake I have tasted, please pass on my thanks. Very Happy
I promise you all that next time Cornish Steak Pasty's will be on the menu Thumbs Up not baked by my wife as she admits to being bloody useless at baking , but I will get my daughter to send some up.
Great photos, great cars and great blokes, thanks for a good day.

Special thanks to CG who travelled all those miles in the blustery weather, he's parked far left.

I have just received a phone call from coniston, apparently they have just found 7 smashed clays behind the 7 I missed on one stand, not sure how it happened but it looks as if a clay machine was throwing them up just over the hill out of sight, that brought my score to 31, so if you can all recognise me as the winner that would be great

Also ginger cake is great for breakfast with a cup of tetley tea Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Top Gun Toeknee, Embarassed we all know that Black is a Censored to keep clean is this why, locked in the rear of your Freely was a double dog cage, converted to hold all the valeting gear, the amount of polish locked away would have supplied EV for six months Whistle

Are you sure it was the local Farmer Question as it was definatly Bovine, it could have been the comments in the car park like Idea "Don't my pretend HSE wheels look nice" (CG) or was "Black is a better colour" (Top Gun Toeknee) or "No I haven't washed it this morning" (NP) and followed by "No I haven't polished it" (Toeknee again) or "It is a SD4 HSE honest but I don't have DAB" (MCP) and finally "I have never picked up a gun before" (EY) Great day though, those that couldn't come missed a good day out Thumbs Up

Top Gun, Date & Walnut cake gets top marks, please pass this on to Mrs toeknee. Thumbs Up
