You can bring along your own Shotguns, but the fee is still £45.00 (payable on the day) for 35 clays and all instruction.

All shooting takes place on hard standing but I would suggest a sturdy pair of shoes just in case

I would suggest that we meet in the Coniston Hall Hotel Car Park for 11.45am. For Satellite Navigation purposes, please use the postcode BD23 4EA (taken from their website so don’t blame me if your sat nav gets you lost)

I will need to upate them with numbers a week or so before so if you cant make it for one reason or another please let me know before the 7th May

If I have my own gun by then I may bring it along, but I might wait to buy as they are stockist of a gun i might be buying so i might see if i can arrange a test shoot or too

Now all i need to find is somewhere for breakfast on the way up, last time i stopped here

If the Clay shoot on the 14th doesn’t take your fancy and you would still like to come along to the meet, your more than welcome that goes for all family and friends as well, spoke to the clay shooting people this morning and they will welcome all of us and there’s a café on site.

You could maybe have a chat about the merits of Manual V Auto Box, SD4 against TD4, to Tow or not, Caravaners the Scurge of the earth (debate) Black will always win out in the colour stakes and maybe the merits of the humble North Yorkshire Scone( A privileged few have already sampled these rare delights and just maybe if we are all good and agree with a certain Chicken Farmer for the next few weeks you may get to sample the delicate scones , Hint, Hint)
