Now that the early signs of spring are starting to show, light nights, bulbs flowering and Birds all over the FL2, it must be time for the second Freelander 2 (Northern contingent or anyone else) meet.

Nick’s post on Shotguns and Clay shooting got me thinking , about our next meet up (That’s if anyone still wants to meet )so I called the chaps over at the Coniston Shooting Lodge, next to the LR Experience at Skipton.
They can offer all equipment, guns, instructor s and 35 clays for £45.00, think we would be looking at ten people minimum, they will even organise a little competition (could be Vanners v non Vanners)

Just seeing if anyone’s interested and if we get a few people we can then start to firm things up

I'm there in April too, and was going to try a half day shooting aswell as my free LRE Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I'm there 23rd April for my LRE but still interested for another date.

Now signed up, that makes 9 so far I think one of friends that’s in to shooting may like to come along so we would have 10.
I’ll give Coniston shooting lodge a ring tomorrow afternoon and try and firm up some dates. I think a Saturday sometime in May (not including the Bank holidays) will try and get some options on datesand times

Start time would be 12.00pm to allow sufficient traveling time, cost is £45.00 and that includes all tuition, guns, cartridges and 35 clays. Fee is payable on the day and I will secure the booking with a deposit

Can you all confirm by PM by Monday the 14th March as i will need to book the afternoon next week
