Whirring sound at the rear

As above can anyone tell me what causes the whirring sound at the rear about 10 seconds after the car is switched off. Car is in park with electric park brake on. Switch engine off, about 10 sconds later, there is a whirring sound from the rear ( i thought near rear passnger side) for about 2-3 seconds. Sometimes it will do it again and then silence. Not 100% that its not central rear either, rather than the left. Only thing i can think off is EPB motor, haldex or fuel pump, unless anything else is lurking under there.

Never heard a whirring sound at rear in 13 yrs & 162k MLS……..perhaps it’s there but……..on switching off à whirring sound can be heard from the throttle valve…….quite normal I know…..for 2 minutes or more…from the engine bay…………& it’s quite loud……! FL2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto MY 2012— current

Im wondering if it is from the front then, I can hear a high pitched whine aswell which i assumed was the throttle body, that goes for a couple of mins then you hear it snap shut. It may be the haldex also as i have issues pointing towards that, just trying to book it in anywhere at short notice is a nightmare.

If car is functioning ok ……….take no notice…….until you have a problem…..! The throttle valve noise seemed strange 13 yrs ago…….but knowing what the noise is makes it ok………that it is normal……!
Never heard à noise from the rear…….never had a problem with the transmission or Haldex ….perhaps I’ve been lucky……..don’t know………….but don’t look for problems if all ok. FL2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto MY 2012— current
