The black plastic trim on the inside of my n/s/r door (left) is loose fitting on the front top corner and rattles. I've tried pushing it on firmly, but it always comes loose again. The o/s/r (right) is fine. What keeps the trim on? How can I fix it? Thanks. |

There’s 2 or 3 screws as I remember then the panel pops off as you work your way round it it is held on with pop in clips it’s probably some of these that are broken replace the broken ones and put it back together see if it’s cured it.

I have had all the trim pieces off to add acoustic insulation. But nevertheless I have sort of forgotten how they go on as it's quite a few years ago.

Yes, the window trim. You have confirmed my own thinking. It is either distorted or was moulded badly from production. Thanks. |

Thanks. What you say confirms that there are no special fixings. My trim is probably just slightly mis-shapen at the front top corner. I think I know what to do now! |

I have fixed the problem. The window trim should be fixed at the bottom, behind the top of the door card. Mine wasn't, at the front, near the b-post. I presume that the plastic lug was snapped off. I have used a short screw to hold it in postion so that it is pushed up into the top corner of the window frame. It is almost invisible. I didn't want to take the door card off, so that was the easy way to do it. |
