rear socket is permanent power, use cables to front one or try the fuse box in front foot well At work

search for sat nav retro fit threads on here there are a few helpful guides somewhere

try here its a bit complex I would try the fuse box mentioned or try and run a wire under the carpet to the fuse box under the boot floor

I took the switched and permanent supply from the connector loom under the centre console directly behind the rear audio connectors. You don't need to remove the centre floor console just remove the rear audio connectors.

I used the wiring diagram found somewhere (maybe npicks can find it for you)on this site to identify the cables and colour that go to the permanent live and earth to the rear power socket and the switched live that goes to the front power socket. By making the connections before the connector it means if the lower centre console has to come out it does not affect you feed to the DVD player.

It is easier to take the passenger seat out to fit the DVD player, make sure you disconnect the battery before you do this as when you disconnect the numerous cables that attach to the seat an airbag fault will log if the battery is still connected.

Hope this helps.

Chris
