as above planning on fitting 12 v dvd player thinking of under passenger seat where is the nearest 12v supply that i could use as i want to hard wire and not use cigar lighter socket plug in cheers |

rear socket is permanent power, use cables to front one or try the fuse box in front foot well At work |

is rear socket permanent as my screens are fitted via rear socket i thought they went off when ignition off if i tap into the front cigar socket can i do this without removing center console again cheers once again in advance |

I took the switched and permanent supply from the connector loom under the centre console directly behind the rear audio connectors. You don't need to remove the centre floor console just remove the rear audio connectors.
