Doing my bit to keep people employed!

Someone opened their car door without looking! A bit of damage to the A column as well. The roof rails have to come off for repainting.

Didn't feel anything in our car, just a bit of crunching, even that felt removed due to all the acoustic insulation.

We weren't travelling this year! Confused

That's a bummer.
Looks like the freeb won though. Common sense isn't very common.

The trouble with that is that families would have to shop every day = 7 times the exposure. Steve

You thought toilet paper was an issue, think again. Now we have a serious problem!

On Sunday, as Victoria and New South Wales flagged shutdowns of non-essential services, Australia's biggest brewers warned the country could run out of beer within weeks.

Exactly, and we are getting a bit worried if “flat rate” rationing comes in we will be a bit short on everything......four adults and two young children here, we need at least 2 litres of Blue Milk and 2 litres of green milk a day.......let along the rest. Regards

David

That's a shame. Finishing my night shifts today and was looking forward to a punch-up with someone in the aisle on the way home from work in the morning Rolling with laughter
Might just have to head to Sainsburys instead, avail myself of the early morning NHS pre-store opening session

Arrived at Sainsburys at 07:00 on way home from work, second in the queue. Greeted by cheery store manager who offered me a bouquet of flowers (the old cynic in me says they were leftovers from yesterday but hey a £25 bunch into the trolley), very leaisurely wander around, fresh fruit and veg, bread, eggs and reasonable amount of fresh food. Probably 100 packs of loo rolls on the shelf though still no sign of sanitiser, either hand gels or laundry variety.
All in all a quite pleasant experience.
If I felt like stockpiling I could repeat every day this week Wink

Some people just don't get it, or maybe they do but just for themselves.

In Tesco this morning and they are limiting customers to one pack of eggs. A woman and three men were shopping together (I guess the men were off work and supposed to be isolating) so the woman told the men to buy one pack each and put them in the car and then come back to the shop where they would all buy another pack each. So that is one way to beat the rationing, or otherwise I'm all right Jack - stuff you and your family.

J

PS: hope the eggs are contaminated with salmonella and they all get sick.

Edited for a blooper.

One of my daughters is a ICU nurse who has been on maternity leave was due back to work today straight to the front line and high chance of catching corona, ironically Friday night her temperature went up and she feels like Censored so looks like she already has it and unfortunately her six month old daughter may have it as well.
Sods law as a family we would get it with one nurse, one teacher, one uni computer geek and a school admin officer. Common sense isn't very common.
